Pre-Pitch sticks go on your shower sub floor, underneath your liner. This is so that the physical liner is still sloped towards the drain and any water that goes through the mortar bed is still directed out of the shower.
Ensure to use the same amount of Quick - Pitch Sticks above your liner.
With this time-saving system there is now no chance for an error in measurement, or the need for a level, to achieve a properly pre-pitched shower floor using a traditional mortar bed application. The Pre-Pitch Kit is used for standard 30" x 60" shower areas with a centered drain, or custom shower areas where the drain is within 36" of each wall. If your shower area exceeds these measurements you will need to order the Pre-Pitch Extended Float Sticks for shower areas where the walls are more than 36" (but less than 72") from the floor drain.
Or you can buy single sticks if your require more for your area. It is recommended that the sticks are no more than 30" apart at the ends when laid out. If your shower area is larger than a 30"x60", you may need to order a couple extra Pre-Pitch Sticks.
